What are your kitchen cabinets made from?
It varies from range to range, but typically carcasses will be made from MFC (melamine-faced-chipboard) conforming to BS5669. Drawer and cabinet fronts may be solid wood, or an MDF or chipboard core, covered in a lacquered veneer or foil wrap.
Call us about your preferred styles and we can clarify the specific details for each one.
What are your worktops made from?
The worktops for our Blackpool fitted kitchens are available in a range of materials, from natural wood and solid stone to stainless steel, quartzite composite materials (of the type found in Corian and similar brands) and laminates.
Our laminates are typically a vinyl wrap covering a chipboard or MDF core.
What areas do you cover?
We’re based on Redmarsh Industrial Estate in Thornton, so you’ll regularly find us fitting kitchens in Blackpool and across the Fylde Coast. We’ll also happily provide an estimate for any fitted kitchen project in Lancashire.
Will you help me design my Blackpool fitted kitchen?
Yes! It’s the most important (and our favourite) part of the job. With hundreds of kitchens fitted across the Fylde Coast over the years, we know what works and what doesn’t, and we’ll be able to help you make the right choices for the space available.
How long will it take to install my Blackpool fitted kitchen?
As you might expect, it varies from project to project, and depends on the scale and complexity of the job. Typically, the job is in two stages. First we need to order the components, manufacture the units and complete any customisation work to tailor your units to your kitchen.
That process can range from a matter of days to several weeks depending on the work involved.
Then we need to install the kitchen onsite. That will typically take 3-7 days.
Can I use my kitchen whilst you’re working at my home?
We will always do our best to ensure you have some form of kitchen whilst we’re with you, even if it is a makeshift one.
What do I need to do to prepare for your arrival?
All we need you to do is empty all your kitchen cupboards and drawers and place the contents somewhere other than the kitchen. Well handle all the dismantling and removal of your existing units.
